Abby Cadabby is the fairy in training of the children's television series, Sesame Street. Also known as Abigail, she's three years old and is a playmate of everyone's popular friend, Elmo.
Abigail Cadabby first appeared on television in the children's television series, Sesame Street, in its 37th season on 14th August in 2006, when she moved into the neighbourhood and became acquainted with the residents of Sesame Street. She brings a new element to the cast of the children's television series and shares the experiences on the differences of dissimilar population and that are from dissimilar backgrounds. Abby was created by Ed Christie and Rollie Krewson and is performed by puppeteer Leslie Carrara.
Downton Abbey
Abby Cadabby is now a full time cast member and permanent resident of the neighbourhood on Sesame road and she continues to entertain and educate children. Abby has sung songs on the kids television show that include 'Kids with Wings', 'I Love Words' and 'Because We're Friends' that she sings along with her friends Rosita and Zoe. Along with her regular appearances on Sesame Street, she has also appeared in the direct to Dvd special features 'Abby in Wonderland' and 'Elmo and Abby's Birthday Fun!'.
Sesame road has been the leader in children's television and entertainment and has been educating and lively preschool children since its starting in 1969, being the longest running television show for children. The schedule offers children with educational value in teaching and making ready them for school. The show features a combination of puppets and live actors and animations to enhance young minds and teach basic letter, number, word identification and qoute solving skills.
