Dollshouse Downton Trailer

Dollshouse Downton Trailer Tube. Duration : 1.10 Mins.

Drama, forbidden love and penguins.... A Downton Abbey parody. Made entirely in the bedrooms of two 16 year old girls, Dollshouse Downton reworks Julian Fellowes' original script, but with a twist; the cast has been replaced by a set of Sylvanian Families. Now you can see Hugh Bonneville as a rabbit, Dan Stevens as a (slightly chubby) cat, and Dame Maggie Smith as a duck. The 2-episode miniseries will be uploaded in mid-september, in anticipation of the UK release of Downton Abbey Series 2. Thumb and subscribe if you love Downton! (Sybil and Branson FTW) Brought to you by AMYA productions. The music on the trailer is by Sigur Ros. We do not own Downton Abbey, or the characters. The "Dollshouse Downton" title screen is also not ours. The Sylvanian Families are, though.

Rheims, France - Where the Kings Were Anointed

Rheims, sometimes spelled Reims, is the largest city in the northeastern Champagne region of France. With a 2008 population of 188,000, Rheims is known as the place where Kings of France were anointed, the most famed of those being Charles Vii in the company of Joan of Arc.

The magnificent 13th century Cathedral of Notre Dame is specifically where these coronations took place, and after the Cathedral was damaged by German shellfire in 1914, it was painstakingly and successfully restored. Someone else equally recognized buildings in Rheims is the Palace of Tau, built between 1498 and 1509, which served as the residence of the Kings of France while the opening of their coronations. The palace was the residence of the Archbishop dating back to the 13th century. 17th-century "improvements" have given it more of a Baroque appearance. It now functions as a museum featuring coronation relics, statues and tapestries.

Downton Abbey

An easy one mile walk from the Cathedral is the St. Remi Basilica and its adjacent previous Abbey of St. Remi. The St. Remi Basilica was mostly completed in the 11th century, with additions made in subsequent centuries. The adjacent Abbey, like the Palace of Tau, is presently a museum, although the adjacent Basilica is still a place of worship.

While in Rheims, you should of policy tour some of the Grand Marque Champagne houses. Many tours contain trips through the cellars and tunnels made by the Romans. Someone else arresting site in Rheims is the old covered market on Rue du Temple in the city center, where you can get fresh furnish and just about anything else. Then be sure to check out the medieval Hotel le Verguer, a previous townhouse that is now furnished undoubtedly as it would have looked in its heyday from the 13th through the 16th centuries.

Also be sure to check out the Place Royale, the main quadrilateral of Rheims. Also visit the Church of St. Jacques, which dates from the 13th century and is now interestingly adequate the town of a arresting shopping area.

Any way the wind blows...// Downton Abbey Tube. Duration : 3.47 Mins.

"Nothing really matters, anyone can see Nothing really matters to me" ~~~~~~~~~~ I know this might seem a bit of a crazy song choice for Downton Abbey but it just seemed to fit in my head for a full cast video. Apologies for the horrendous song cut, I had enough ideas for the rest of the lyrics but the monumental guitar solo would have defeated me; and it just wasn't very Downton. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ #61 -- Top Favourited (Today) -- Non-profits & Activism #76 -- Top Rated (Today) -- Non-profits & Activism #59 -- Top Favourited (Today) -- Non-profits & Activism #67 -- Top Rated (Today) -- Non-profits & Activism ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. student Life in Nottingham

The city of Nottingham, with two universities and any smaller colleges, has a large and assorted trainee population, which has contributed its own creative and edgy flavour to the city's younger neighbourhoods. Some 40,000 full-time students make Nottingham their place of education, life, work and entertainment.

The University of Nottingham is the largest educational practice in the city, with about 32,000 registered students in 2005. It features one of Britain's largest curative schools, and staffs the Queen's curative Centre teaching hospital. The indispensable University Park Campus lies just to the west of the Nottingham city centre, filled with award-winning buildings and green space. University Park has a dozen halls of residence for first year students (and others who wish to stay on campus), each holding 200-300 students: Ancaster Hall, Cavendish Hall, cripps Hall, Derby Hall, Florence Boot Hall, Hugh Stewart Hall, Lenton and Wortley Hall, Lincoln hall, Nightingale Hall, Rutland Hall, Sherwood Hall, and Willoughby Hall.

Downton Abbey

Smaller colse to satellite campuses are the Jubilee Campus, with its three residence halls (Melton Hall, Newark Hall, and Southwell Hall), the Sutton Bonington Campus (with Bonington Hall made up of a conglomeration of smaller residences), and the King's Meadow Campus. The university also maintains two international campuses in Malaysia and China.

The University of Nottingham Students' Union is made up of one hundred and fifty trainee societies and seventy two extra interest clubs, and the university's sport teams participate in the British Universities Sports Association. The undergraduates at the university yield a trainee magazine called "Impact", run the University Radio Nottingham, and stage shows and extra events at the New Theatre. The "Campus 14" is a series of bars on the University Park campus; new students are often surreptitiously challenged to unblemished the "bar crawl" of intelligent at least one drink at each location.

The University of Nottingham's main rival in the city is the Nottingham Trent University (named for the Trent River which flows through the centre of town). It began as Trent Polytechnic, and later Nottingham Polytechnic, but became a full-fledged university in 1992, and now teaches over 25,000 students every year, focusing on a variety of beneficial and high end trades.

Like its rival institution, Nottingham Trent has complicated campuses. The central campus, located near Shakespeare road downtown, is known as the City Campus. Clifton Campus, home to humanities and science departments, and Brackenhurst Campus which focuses on rural and animal sciences, are located on the fringes of the city.

The Nottingham Trent Students Union coordinates the activities of some three dozen trainee organizations, and maintains any trainee shops, bars, gyms, and other amenities. They also build weekly music nights, release the "Platform" trainee newspaper, and yield the Fly Fm and Kick Fm radio programmes.

Other schools in the area which conduce to the intelligent trainee culture contain New College Nottingham, the Nottingham School of Fashion, Confetti build of Creative Technologies, Nottingham High School, Bilborough College, Chilwell School, Nottingham High School for Girls, South Nottingham College, the Greenwood Dale Technology College, and The Nottingham Bluecoat School and Technology College.

The Old market Square, Canalside, the Lace Market, and Hockley settlement are beloved areas for off-campus trainee entertainment. The Waterfront and The angle House are beloved gathering places, as are The Palais, Ohm, Bar None, Cucamara, Lizard Lounge, The Cookie Club, Jongleurs, Bell Inn, Daniel's Hall, The Square, Muse, and the other three hundred and fifty pubs, bars, clubs and restaurants. One shouldn't miss a visit to Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem, whether -- the oldest pub in England, built half in a cave in the side of a sandstone bluff.

The city boasts numerous music venues, especially Rock City, The saving Rooms, Stealth, The Social, Junktion 7, The Old Angel, The Edge, Media, Ocean, The Bomb, Blueprint, The Works and the Boat Club, in addition to the Royal Concert Hall and the Nottingham Arena. There are also numerous cinemas, live theatres, and interactive art galleries to suit the visually inclined. The Arboretum Park, Abbey Court,

The "LeftLion" inexpressive magazine and website contribute a indispensable guide to music and communal events for students and young people. The society is named after the leftmost of the pair of large stone lions which decorate the steps of the Council House in Old market quadrilateral -- rumour has it the left-hand lion is named "Brian", while the other is "Ryan". The quadrilateral has also been a gathering place for trainee events and celebrations, such as the winning of the European Cup and the F.A. Cup by local football team Nottingham Forest.

The universities and other local sites are associated by the Nottingham Express Transit, or Net trams. Shopping areas like Broadmarsh Shopping Centre, Victoria Centre, and Flying Horse Walk are surely accessible to students, as are the high-fashion neighbourhoods of Hockley settlement and Bridlesmith Gate.

A Visit to Bardstown Ky - Bourbon Capital of the World - 5 Things You Must Do

On my recent all-too-brief trip to Bourbon Country and Bardstown, Ky, I had time to do a few things that I wanted but I saw so much more that I would love to experience. Luckily for me I live only about 40 miles away so I can go back and do these later. If you are ever lucky sufficient to find yourself in Bardstown, here are five activities or attractions that you should reconsider doing.

1. Visit a Distillery or Two. Okay, this is honestly the only real "must-do" in bourbon country. I only had the time to visit Heaven Hill, the closest distillery to downtown, but there are dozens more distilleries within minutes of Bardstown along with the world notable Jim Beam and Maker's Mark Distilleries. Learn how bourbon is made, the history of bourbon and the surrounding area and sample the goods at the end. What's not to love.

Downton Abbey

2. Visit The Old Talbott Tavern. I had lunch at this historic inn and tavern that sits smack on the courthouse Square. It now operates as a restaurant, hotel and bed & breakfast. It has a very colorful past. Here is a clip from their website:

The old stone reminder of Bardstown's beginnings still welcomes visitors to the bustling downtown area. Since the late 1700s, the Old Talbott Tavern on Court quadrate has provided shelter, food and drink to Kentucky travelers.

Talbott Tavern is said to be the oldest western stagecoach stop in America as the westward expansion brought explorers from the east into Kentucky.

According to legend, figures straight from the history books sought lodging here during their travels; as a young boy Abraham Lincoln and his house stayed here, Gen. George Rogers Clark, Daniel Boone, and exiled French King Louis Phillipe and his entourage stayed here, even painting murals on the upstairs walls. There are noticeable bullet holes in the now faded paintings and Jesse James is said to be responsible for them.

Riiiiight. Hey, it's possible. Jesse James mom lived in my hometown of Brandenburg and I have slept in her bedroom. She wasn't there at the time. ;) But that's a story for other time.

Anyway, if you go to the Old Talbott Tavern, go for the history because the food is just average. Nothing wrong with it but it would undoubtedly not make it onto my Roadfood Blog of places to eat on the road.

Oh, one more thing -- it's said to be haunted. Maybe it's Jesse.

2. Walk the courthouse quadrate and downtown Area. Bardstown is proud of its history and it have presume to be. It is Kentucky's second oldest city and has one of the largest collections of late 18th and early 19th century structure in the Southern United States. There is even a recreation of a frontier village right on the courthouse Square. I do love reading those slight history plaques they put on old buildings.

Across from the Old Talbott Tavern there is a drugstore that still has an authentic lunch counter. If the noon crowd is any indication this would have been a much better choice for lunch though I would have probably had to wait until 3 or 4 pm to get a seat. Next time.

4. Kentucky Railway Museum. See a wealth of old engines and cars from a time when trains ruled the west at Kentucky's official railway museum. Take a ride straight through the scenic Rolling Fork River Valley on the evening meal train.

5. Abbey of Gethsemani. The center offers displays and a video presentation about monastery life as well as a gift shop with Gethsemani Farms products. The Abbey, founded in 1848 by the Order of Trappist Cistercians, is home today to Trappist monks who open doors to spiritual seekers from all over the world. Pick up some monk-made crafts while you are there along with their world notable cheese.

I wonder if they make beds. Get it? Monkbeds. Ha!

There is so much to do in and nearby Bardstown that it may be best just to make a weekend of it. There are any B&B's listed on the official site that look good and I saw at least two right downtown on the square. Who wants to drive home after all that bourbon sampling anyway.

Downton Abbey- Victorian times edition (Parody)

Downton Abbey- Victorian times edition (Parody) Tube. Duration : 4.03 Mins.

Downton Abbey is a TV drama made by ITV. I do not own anything other than some of the voices used. Many Moons ago I said that when ever I watch this show I feel like a posh old lady with tea and sandwhiches, and that I wouldn't mind if that was the case. I was then challenged by someone, claiming that if I wanted to be posh, go right ahead. This is the result of that.

Things to Do in Lake Geneva Wisconsin

Anyone who has ever been to Lake Geneva Wisconsin knows that there is an plentifulness of things to do for fun. There is astounding shopping, all from fast food galore to the finest dining, superior nightlife, great fishing spots, water parks, boating, skiing, and top notch golf. I know, it sounds like the perfect place. That is why so many make Lake Geneva Wisconsin their estimate one vacation destination every year, and the estimate is growing.

There are resorts like Grand Geneva, and the Abbey that offer perfect accommodations. Grand Geneva has a huge indoor water par, which makes it especially kid friendly, along with two Pga Championship caliber courses, the Brute, and the Highlands. The Abbey does no have an indoor water par, but has perfect accommodations as well. And they are affiliate with Abbey Springs, one of the oldest, and most gorgeous courses Wisconsin has to offer.

Downton Abbey

Then there is the restaurants. Lg has all from cheap to high class, and all in between. If you are just seeing for something quick or something for the kids give Claws a try. They have a menu that is full of tasty treats for adults and kids alike. If you enjoy fine dining, my beloved place on the Lake is Cafe Calamari, by far. They have a astounding fillet, a great option of wine, awesome service, and an espresso martini that is to die for. If they are booked up, give Kirsch's a call, as they have perfect food as well.

If shopping is what you like, then just take a gallivant straight through the gorgeous downtown area of Lg and you will find that there is No shortage of shopping. Be sure to stop by Kilwin's Chocolate and Ice Cream Shop if you find yourself there.

Lg is also turning into a top golf destination in the Midwest. The reason for this is because the area boasts numerous high capability courses, numerous mid level courses, and a few lower level courses for the more laid back players. Along with all of the other things in the area and it is no wonder why people are flocking to the area every summer. The elite courses in the area are:

-Geneva National
-Grand Geneva
-Abbey Springs

These 3 establishments have the golf thing nailed down. Each offers it's own brand of difficulties and uniqueness. It would be hard to pick the best one of the bunch. You cannot go wrong if you make your way on to any of these courses. They do carry a bit higher greens fees than the other area courses, but do deliver on the quality.

Other courses to check out:

-Hawks View
-Lake Geneva Country Club
-Evergreen
-Alpine Valley Resort

If you cannot or do not want to play one of the elite courses, I propose checking out one of these. They are great courses for the money, and are a little more laid back as far as dress code as well.

Top Micro-Breweries of the Mid-Atlantic Region

Perhaps you know the craving. You may be enjoying a healthy-sized plate of hot wings or succulent barbecue ribs, and you suddenly desire a cold beverage to help savor the enjoyment. No fizzy soda or plain glass of ice water will do - you need a beer, frozen and sharp with the right estimate of flavor to compliment your meal. Why rule for a appropriate name brand, though, when you can try the unique taste of a drink brewed regionally? If you live in the Mid-Atlantic area - Virginia, North Carolina, and Maryland, you'll find a host of micro-breweries to try.

So where are the best lagers? Next time you're browsing a specialty liquor store, or on the road and seeing for an attractive attraction to tour, reconsider manufacture the following stops along the way:

Downton Abbey

Weeping Radish Brewery - Outer Banks, Nc

For over twenty years, the Weeping Radish has been the place to go for beach brewed goodness. Visitors to the Outer Banks can tour this working farm and eco-friendly brewery, where you'll find appetizing pale ales and full-bodied lagers created in the old German style. Grab a case of homemade root beer to go, too, and try a cold wheat beer at the brewery's restaurant with some authentic Carolina Bbq.

Starr Hill Brewery - Charlottesville, Va

Based near the rolling hills and valleys of Shenandoah, Starr Hill is known for its award-winning tastes and trippy-looking labels. Beer connoisseurs may enjoy the Dark Starr Stout, described by the brewery as a liquid equivalent to "Grandma's pumpernickel bread," or the Festie, an Oktoberfest style lager.

Clipper City Brewing company - Baltimore, Md

Organic beer? You bet! This Maryland brewery offers two varieties of organic beer - a primary amber ale and a bold raspberry wheat. For others tastes, Clipper City has Holy Sheet, brewed in the manner of the old Belgian Abbey monks, and Peg Leg, a dark chocolate stout, among many others.

If the craving for a unique regional beer hits you, try any of these Mid-Atlantic brands. Just remember to drink responsibly and in moderation.
